Gitti Pirner gave her first concert at the age of seven. She won the first prize at the International Music Competition in Geneve, which was her breakthrough into the concert life. She played amongst others with the conductors Sergiu Celibidache, Arnim Jordan, Rudolf Kempe, Helmuth Rilling and Franz Welser-Möst. She acted as juror in several contests, for example in Geneve at the International Music Competition, at the ARD-Competition in Munich or at the Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. Gitti Pirner also plays chamber music and accompanies solo singers. She had several CDs recorded, so amongst others all piano sonatas by Mozart and the Unfinished Sonata by Beethoven.
